The 36x24" wooden frame is well made & much nicer than the plastic items sold for similar $. It arrived without the hanging packet, but their customer service sent me one immediately after I managed to find a phone number on the company's page. Don't waste time trying to fix such issues through Amazon's cumbersome customer service system. I'm fussy about aesthetics but they managed to please me.style: 286bk (flat black frame).This item arrived this afternoon. It was well packaged and had no damage at all. I'm over 70 and never was much of a handyman, but working slowly and carefully I had my poster and frame ready to hang in 30 minutes. One reviewer mentioned not having any instructions, but my order came with a separate instruction sheet, placed between the acrylic and cardboard, which was large, clear, easy to read, and easy to understand. The only thing that slowed me down was separating the film from the two sides of the acrylic. I had to keep chipping away at a corner (once on each side) with my fingernail until I finally got a bit of separation, then the film peeled off with no problem.Just be sure you have the needed tools, and using these frames should be a breeze. It was for me. Tools: Phillips screwdriver, pencil, tape measure, hammer, kitchen knife (or putty knife), wire cutter (or something similar). All hardware is included, including a wall hanger and nail.Nice frame for the cost, well packaged.Do not waste your money. I thought ordering wood would make this frame sturdier and higher quality. Not so much! I was worried the frame would break picking it up off of flat surface. I would have returned had my boyfriend not already put the map in it we wanted to frame. Should have gotten the seven dollar poster frame. Just not put together well.Out of all the 24x36 poster frames I can find on amazon, I feel that this is the definitive choice for me going forward. It has a solid wood construction (corners aren’t perfect but it’s definitely more than acceptable) and the quality packaging ensured it arrived undamaged. The acrylic facing comes with a protective plastic film on both sides and the backboard is a plane cardboard sheet but it holds up just fine (as long as you don’t crease it by mistake). All in all I 100% recommend this to anyone looking looking to frame their posters, the defined wood grain in the paint, beveled edges, and just the right amount of edge width give this frame just the aesthetic I’ve been looking for.If you're looking for a frame that'll make your poster pop, look no further than this. It doesn't come with instructions, but if you've ever hung a frame you'll see this isn't lame. Many OTHER products came with a plague of reviews stating how damaged the frames arrived. This one was packaged carefully and arrived in pristine condition. NOTE: You need to remove the clear plastic coating from both sides of the "glass" or your poster will look foggy. It comes with everything you need including a hanging kit, though you might also want a hammer to hang it unless you're planning on using a brick. For the price, it's better than anything else you'll find out there.I am actually really happy to have the opportunity to post a review on this company. I order 7 24x36 frames for an exhibit of my work as there are no affordable resources locally. All were received in good condition and in a timely manner. The frames are simple, but effective and I was very happy with the ease with which I was able to assemble them. I was totally surprised at the quality for the price. The only difference between this an a traditional poster frame is it's made of wood. It's flimsy.
