The gold tone is so pretty.Mine arrived without quality issues. It is a simple, nicely toned gold frame perfect for areas where you don’t want or can’t have a thicker frame. I always use them when gifting pictures and for decorating my desk.I had a photo that was photographed with a 35 mm film camera 25 years or so ago. The resulting photo has a ratio that is good for a 4x6 print. However, I wanted a 5x7 print of it so it would be larger. Unfortunately, when you make a 5x7 print from the photo taken with a 35 mm camera, you lose a little along the long dimension -- top or bottom or a little of both. So, I wanted a thin edge frame so the frame did not exacerbate the loss on the long dimension. This frame has thin edges and minimizes that loss. it is black metal which looks good with this photo. However, the back piece slides up the back side of the frame. It doesn't set in place in the frame with little "flippers" to hold it in place. So, you need to pick up the frame by the part that is used for table-top display. I also agree with another reviewer that it falls apart rather easily. I've found that my photos don't sit as snugly as I'd like. Behind the nice velvet backing is a piece of plain corrugated cardboard to hold everything in place, but it is perhaps slightly too thin? Also, I removed the glass pane on one side when putting in my photos and the tiny plastic corner protective pieces came off. I was able to carefully set them back on, but they could use some super glue which I don't have on hand to really be secure. When the frames are closed together they don't sit flush due to the hinges, but mine will sit open and on display so that doesn't matter to me. Overall it's a lovely simple frame.This order doesn't make any sense, it's very confusing. Screws not included...in other words missing the main things to hold everything together on the velvet back cover. Sent it back and got a refund. Do not buy this not worth it.Arrived with Prime shipping and was exactly what I needed. Slightly more expensive, but a much better constructed and sturdy frame. Would definitely buy this brand again.
