Magnetack magnetic thumb tacks are magnetic pins used to hang pictures and posters without damaging them. Turn almost any wall or bulletin board into a magnetic surface. The best way to hang posters, photos, and artwork without damaging them with holes or tape. Each pack comes with 24 magnetic thumb tacks and 24 top magnets. Simply push the magnetic thumb tack base into the wall by hand, then place your poster or photo over the base tack, then use the top magnet to hang your item. Each Magnetack can be reused over and over again. They can be easily removed from the wall or bulletin board by hand and moved to another location or stored for future use. We use strong neodymium rare earth magnets on both the magnetic thumb tack base AND the top magnet, so you get twice the attractive force. Save your items from damage by using Magnetacks magnetic thumb tacks. No more holes in your posters, photos, or artwork!

My sons like to attache posters to their bedroom walls. In the past, they have used tape, which sometimes damages the walls when removed, and quite often tears pieces off the posters. These Magnetacks consist of magnetic thumbtack-like pieces that can easily be pressed into drywall (a little harder into wood or plaster, and not into concrete or brick). Then the tiny, but very powerful little round magnets are used to hold the poster in place without damage. My sons have used these to attach large posters to their ceilings and there is no question of them falling down. When mounting posters using these magnets, it is best to first locate and press in all the thumb-tack pieces for the corners. Pressing them in by hand is the way to do it, or at least NOT using something that is iron or steel (like a hammer). The magnetic tacks will grab firmly onto the hammer and be pulled off the wall. When the tacks are in place near the corners of the place where the poster is to go, have a helper hold the poster in place while someone else snaps on the little magnets (they are really strong!). Maybe even practice with plain paper on an out-of-the way spot on the wall . . .
