Antique Gold 4x6 Picture Frame - Craig Ornate for Photos & Art

Frame arrived early. Was packaged incredibly well to prevent any sort of damage. It's very well made, solid, sturdy, and beautiful. Exactly what I wanted for my print. Detail along border of frame gives vintage elegance without taking away from what's held in the frame. Couldn't be happier.This frame set off my poster so well. Delicately ornate, I’m absolutely sure that it would add beauty to anything that is put into it. Stunning!!I had purchased a digital art print and asked the artist for suggestions for framing. Following his advice brought me to this frame. The quality and finish are very good, nice looking and consistent (no "holidays" in the finish technique). The packaging was a work of art in itself - no way this frame was going to be damaged in shipping. However the little tabs that you fold back to remove the back piece to insert your art are pretty stubborn. I had to really work them to bend them at first, remove the back, insert the art and put the back on again. By the time all that was done the tabs bent more easily but if you changed out your art a couple times more I think those tabs might break right off. So my theory is that the tabs start off stiff as a board but lose their rigidity fairly quickly. I would buy this again but with that caution in mind.I purchased 5 frames of Varying sizes that were to match enough to be hung together. The 14x 18 was the largest size. My mistake for not reading FIVE descriptions from the exact same place ( there are multiple choices of sizes and finishes)but unbeknownst to me when the frames go over a certain size the description changes from “glass “ to “acrylic” - unfortunately I had already bought matting to match these frames, so I am stuck with 4 glass( which I wanted ) and one “acrylic “ ( think poster frames) -really too ugly and cheap looking for my artwork. The only remedy is for me to purchase a piece of glass on my own to match. Although it’s not that difficult a fix, I certainly would have gone another way had I realized. Sadly, it would have been easier to pay a bit more for glass.The only thing that made me angry about this frame is I didn't discover it many years ago. I collect a lot of lithographs from concerts as well as some autographs. I was over a friends house and he had the Star Wars poster in one of these frames and it was the nicest Frame I had ever seen. He sent me the link and I ordered it for my lithograph. I love it... they are made with great quality. I am an artist and I will be using these in the future to put my artwork. If you want to eat solid black or even white or any other color for that matter all you need is a spraycan. Equality and crashed and ship of this frame is the best .I really like this frame. It is beautiful and great for the price. Sufficient packing to keep the glass in good condition. It is lightweight and easy to place documents or pictures in.It worked for my canvas picture..The item is very flimsy and low quality.
