EDIT: Sept. 1, 2021I ordered another case of 8 frames and all came in acceptable condition. A few had some minor scuffing on the black frames that a little black paint or marker can easily mask. As much as I love having movie posters on display I am slightly put off by the glare they produce. They are very glass-like when it comes to reflections. That is just the nature of the product and something I didn't foresee when planning out this space. Had I the option of going with a more matte finish I would but in my experience that also reduces the luster of the color print too. Overall, thrilled a second time and this makes qty 16 - 24x36 frames that are all perfectly usable with no damage.Original Review:I bought the 8 pack of these and not a single one had an issue. It was well boxed with tons of Styrofoam. The plexiglass window had protective plastic on both sides of each frame and the frames were well assembled and "sturdy". You are not getting fine, hand crafted mahogany framework imported the forests of Endor with these so temper your expectations for the money you are spending. I had a great experience with these 24x36 and lined my stairwell to the Home Theater room in official movie posters and am extremely happy. It's about how they look on the wall with your favorite art than it is about how they feel in your sweaty hands. It's unfortunate that shipping problems occur outside the control of the seller and people complain about it as if the frames are at fault. I got lucky and bought another 8 pack. I hope they arrive is an good condition. The Good========1) Sturdy2) Professional-looking (nice finish)3) Fits most movie postersThe Bad---------1) Price2) Hard to install3) Cracks easily if droppedThese frames are great for the price. They look modern and sharp on the wall. The black frames is actually foam. I had several corners break off at the staple. However I was able to hot glue them together and they still look great.I had purchased the 8 pack of frames to hang 7 posters I was looking to frame. I thought it seemed like decent value at $16 per frame. The packing was sturdy and it looked like all the frames arrived just fine. When unpacking them, one slipped out of my hand and fell to laminate flooring from about 1' off the ground and laded on one of the sides, however one of the corners just shattered apart. At that point I was thankful there was 1 more frame in the pack than I needed, so I continued on. The frames have a fairly sturdy cardboard backing, but it is the classic brown cardboard color and my posters that were about 1" short on every side and looked terrible. So I went to Michaels to pick up some poster board to make a boarder. Whatever, my value decreased now to like $25 a frame. As I started placing my first poster, I was flipping the frame and suddenly it gave way. In one of the corners, the staples holding the junction together just ripped through the recycled wood frame. I don't know what I would call the material but the word "wood" is definitely misleading. Its more like fused together sawdust. Maybe that is what recycled wood is, but it sure has heck isn't a frame material. I was upset, but maybe I would just frame 6 of the posters and it would be ok. I was successful on my 2nd attempt. So 1 poster in, 5 more possible. Unfortunately this problem would keep happening as the corner staples kept ripping through the sawdust frames. Most of the time the breaks would happen just by applying the tension latches on the backing to hold it into place. by squeezing in the latches, the frame would get too much pressure and just crumble apart in the corners. In all, I had 2 successful frames and 1 that is in place but it looks like a corner is halfway broken and about to fall apart. I haven't hung the picture yet so there is still a good chance for it to crumble. I will be contacting the seller for a refund and will update if successful. You knock one down. Then you find out that it seems to be made of a compressed powdered plastic, that is very brittle, and the frame shatters into pieces at the joints where the joiners have apparently been pressed in. One arrived with a small chip along the long edge and at the corner joint, so I touched it up with black permanent marker.Needed to dress up a huge white wall in my office and these did the job and easily went on with command strips. They seem like they’d break easily but all mine were fine.Product looks like it’s pictured, but the pins in the back that keep it together come off easily, and if you bump a side at all they come undone extremely easily. It is all good after they replaced the broken set. looks good does the job I need.I ordered 8 24x36 picture frames on sale. I can definitely see why they were on sale. First off, the mounting product that comes with these is extremely poor quality and difficult to use - as already mentioned by other reviewers. We used that as well as mounting tape that holds up to 15lbs (much less than the weight of the item). One of the frames was up for about 2 days. We went for a walk and came home to the picture included in the review. Not only did the product break, but it also caused damaged to our wall and stair rail during the event. At first we were pleased with the way the product at least looked when up, but now we are out more money than the order was even worth in damages. All the Amazon manger could offer was a $50 promotional credit to my Amazon account or returning all 8 for a full refund (if you’re thinking it would take a great deal of added stress and physical effort to send back - you’re correct!). We accepted the offer of a $50 credit to our Amazon account, and now will be paying out of pocket to fix the damages to our house. If you do end up purchasing this product, I would advise you to hang it somewhere where no one can be injured or your house cannot be damaged if the product were to break - in our opinion, it’s not even worth the chance to purchase.Review update: SIX out of eight frames have broken since purchase.Well you get what you pay for and I like them for the price and the amount wasn't expecting much but the frames look nice plastic not glass was well-protected both sides and is really glossy they do look nice hang on the wall with light shining on them. One thing I didn't like with them was on the back they have these big metal clasps on them that make it hard to not only stay together but to hang up on the wall without popping. Nothing that a little bit of tape pressed down on it didn't fix and also make the picture frame more secure andstable once hung up on the wall they look beautiful and really that's all you really going for isn't it?I bought the 8 pack of 24x36.They work pretty well for the most part. They’re light weight, so i use 2 command strips to hang them up on the wall and they work just fine.Out of the 8 that i ordered, 1 of the frames arrived cracked and the cardboard in the back was warped. I used 3 additional command strips to force it up against the wall and it seems to work okay for now.Another frame had an issue with the glue. Some of it seems to have caked into a corner of the plexiglass so hard that it ended up covering a small corner of the glass and there’s no real way to remove it. Not the end of the world, but not pretty either. The remaining 6 were in good shape, though.of the 6, one of them showed up broken.i hung the remaining 5 which worked fine until Iended up moving and had to take them off the walls, in the process of rehanging them at my new place 2 more broke on the corner (i was very gentle because you can simply just tell they are flimsy when you hold them).I’m sure i can super glue them back together or something but obviously the product would be better if it was a little more sturdy..i bought these 3.5 months ago and have only hung them, removed them and rehung them and am now left with half the amount of framesThe frames appeared to have been well packed for shipping however the very first frame fell apart once out of the cellophane wrap. All frames were very flimsy and had to be handled very carefully. Despite having the posters printed on thick paper and extra posters added behind, the posters appear wrinkled. It looks like this is caused by the poor quality of the frame back and closure. I would never order this product again, and will try to avoid this manufacturer in future.
