In our dining room, we have a family portrait in this frame that we found to be affordable compared to other overpriced wood frames. Although it's not made of solid wood, it's difficult to distinguish from a distance as it looks like it's painted that way. However, upon touching it, you can easily tell that it's not solid wood. Overall, we're satisfied with the frame and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if needed.
