I’m so glad I didn’t take some of the other reviews to heart or I may not have purchased. I purchased for my masters degree. This is a great frame. It has weight to it. It doesn’t seem cheap at all, imho. It totally does the job and looks wonderful on the wall. The back is velvety, and the gold trim on the frame itself has a antique-y, aged kind of look that makes the overall presentation look absolutely gorgeous and classy. I was hoping for a lighter color for it to be walnut, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I highly recommend.
