Like our wood frames, this frame is back loading and comes completely assembled and ready to hang. These frames come in a variety of sizes and are perfect for collectible movie posters and artwork. As with all Frame USA products, these frames are proudly made in America! Sizing is based on the size of your artwork Please keep in mind that all of our picture frames are sized based on the opening in the back of the frame, meaning you'll want to choose the size of your image when ordering your Simply Poly series frame! Remove film from styrene before use A thin plastic film protects both sides of styrene (plexiglass) during shipping and retail display. The film, which should be taken off before use, is easily removed by hand. What comes with my frame? Frames 4x6" - 8x10" will come with an easel back for tabletop framing, and styrene. Frames 8x12" - 11x14" will come with a flat back, sawtooth hanger for wall framing, and styrene. Frames 11x17" - 27x41" will come with cardboard, sawtooth hanger for wall framing, and styrene. Smooth profile made of lightweight polystyrene Frame profile is 1.25" wide and 5/8" deep. Note that a slight overhang covers the display area by about 1/8" on each side. Frame will come with two layers of protective film, covering both sides of the styrene (plexiglass) front. Please remove BOTH layers of film to ensure optimal display clarity.

For the money you're spending, you're getting a pretty decent frame. I have two movie posters this size, the first one I purchased another frame off of ebay years ago. When I put the second poster in THIS frame, I immediately saw a quality difference. The frame itself is pretty sturdy, though it's a light plastic it doesn't bend nearly as easily as the older poster frame. I also like how the frame has a matte finish rather than a glossy. I immediately bought a second frame and swapped out the first poster with that cheaper frame.The only issue I have, and I see I'm not the only one that has it, is the hanging pieces. They're completely loose, taped to the side of the frame when you unbox it, and you're expected to just stick the metal piece into the cardboard backing. Other users claim it falls out after and I would believe it. What I ended up doing was just getting a pack of those heavy-duty command velcro strips for twelve pounds, which is WAY more than what these frames weigh, the back of the frames have the same finish as the front and are plenty wide enough to conceal the strips from the front.So yeah, if you're looking for something that won't cost you an arm and a leg, then this gives you what you need. Just either make a trip to Walmart or add some of those command strips to your order and you're set!
